It was his biggest solo gig in over a decade. But he more than proved his worth just ten seconds in, opening with Greatest Day to a standing ovation.
And Gaz couldn't wait to have a pop at himself during the show, in aid of the Prince's Trust.
After commenting on a few of the banners claiming their love for him, he joked: "What does that one say? 'You k***head get off the stage'. That's not very nice."
He then played Reach Out, Open Road, A Million Love Songs and Pray ? with the dodgy dance routine included. He broke out into the Ratpack classics; I've Got You Under My Skin, Fly Me To The Moon and Moon Dance after joking: "This is from my new album, Swing When You're Thinning," while rubbing the bald patch on his head.
After a medley of the classics, including Could It Be Magic and Love Ain't Here Anymore, he brought out the big guns... Lulu came on for Relight My Fire, Jason Donovan joined him for his own song Too Many Broken Hearts and Olly Murs appeared for a duet on Shine.
Surprised Olly didn't want to perform Take That's Do What You Like naked and covered in jelly ?
