The former Hannah Montana star will play Dracula's daughter in new animation Hotel Transylvania.
And the look of the character, Mavis, has been revealed by studio Sony.
Her vampire dad, played by comic Adam Sandler, runs a holiday retreat for misunderstood monsters, where they can get away from the strains of living in the normal world.
Fiercely protective of Mavis, he is horrified when she begins to fall for a mere mortal who mistakenly stumbles into the hotel.
As well as Miley and Adam, a monster cast is coming together to voice the rest of the characters.
It includes Cee Lo Green as Murray the Mummy, Steve Buscemi and Molly Shannon as werewolf couple Wayne and Wanda and Kevin James as Frankenstein.
Saturday Night Live star Andy Samberg will play the ordinary lad, Jonathan.
The movie is due for release in time for Halloween 2012.
