The actor was most well known for his role as Tommy Turner in the Porky's trilogy from 1982 to 1985.
Knight's body was discovered on October 26 in Maui, Hawaii at an isolated area near to where he had been staying, according to TMZ.
Police who recovered the body have reportedly stated that they believe his death was a suicide, with autopsy results soon to be revealed.
Knight also made several television appearances, including roles in M*A*S*H* and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
