Kelly Rowland threatens to quit 'X Factor' over twist

Kelly Rowland has threatened to quit The X Factor if she is forced to change acts.
It was reported yesterday that a new twist will see the judges switch categories and mentor new performers.
However, Rowland has admitted that she wouldn't like to see another judge looking after her Girls (Janet Devlin and Misha B) after all the hard work she has already put in.
"I don't want anybody touching my girls," she told the Sunday Mirror. "I'm not giving Misha and Janet up for anyone. I'd walk before I gave them up. Everybody is doing such a good job mentoring their acts. I don't know why they'd do that."
She added: "When Simon gave me the job he liked the fact I stood by my word. He calls me Lippy - Simon likes me because I have a smart mouth. I'm not afraid of him and I respect him.
"We would be electric on the same judging panel, can you imagine? But I love being on a panel with Gary, Louis and Tulisa - despite what people say."
Fellow judge Tulisa Contostavlos recently insisted that she is on good terms with Rowland following their on-screen disagreement over claims Misha B was bullying the other acts.
Speaking of the argument, Rowland explained: "Don't get me wrong, I was very disappointed but we are cool now. Everybody needs to get on with it and move on. I have respect for Tulisa. We are not dissimilar."
Rowland concluded that she believes Misha B has the best chance of making it in America after the show.

Kelly Rowland new album 'Here I Am' exclusive

RAUNCHY Kelly Rowland is putting down some serious heat on her new album Here I Am.

Her third solo CD drops on November 28 with single Down For Whatever out the week before.

And channelling some old-skool R&B sauce works a treat.

At an intimate playback Kelly, 30, told me: “Sensuality plays an interesting role in my life and I’m very happy about it – I’m very liberated and I can’t complain.

“It’s confidence; feeling good in your own skin.

“I’ve seen so many women be like that over the years, Janet Jackson being top of my list, especially on the Janet album.”

Here’s my verdict on the best bits...

Work It Man: Heaving R&B beast with signature Rodney Jerkins stamp.

Feelin Me Right Now: The kinda song if you had a soft-top car would make you wind down the roof to head bob along to.

Turn It Up: Hammering drums with a chanting chorus that beats hard.

All Of The Night: Kelly slips into Janet Jackson’s negligée of filth and the results are sizzling. “This is the song you have sex to,” she declared.

Keep It Between Us: Dreamy mid-tempo for cuddling to.

Heaven & Earth: A huge ballad co-written by Ne-Yo.

Each Other: A banging track in every sense of the word.

Rose-Coloured Glasses: The disc’s huge pop song and my fave.
