Katie Price mocks Alex Reid for ‘turning into a woman’ and jokes about his sexual preferences

Katie Price had a good laugh at Alex Reid’s expense today, mocking the father-to-be for turning ‘into a woman’ while they were married.

Speaking at a press event which saw the mum of three officially signing protégé Amy Willerton to her management label, Katie cracked jokes about Alex before suggesting that he made her wear a ‘strap on’ in the bedroom.

When we asked Amy whether she had her eye on any celebrity men, Katie cut in and made a comment that was clearly about estranged husband Alex. She said: “Yeah, she likes men that are men who turn into women.

“Because I’ve been there done that, she wants to copy and get a taste of both sides.”

Watch Katie cracking jokes in the video above...

Katie then took the joke a tad further and laughed: “I’m going to show her how to put that strap on on. Getting her mature, you know, getting on with it.”

Naturally, at this point Kate’s publicist started getting a bit flustered, telling the glamour model to pipe down, which simply makes her laugh.

She shouts: “I’m joking, just banter!”

But it doesn’t sound like Katie will be in the UK bickering with her exes for much longer, announcing that she’s planning on moving to the US soon.

When questioned about doing another reality show, Kate said: “It looks like I’m going to America. It’s all about America.”

And when asked if that was the secret she’d been hinting at on Twitter recently, she denied it was, saying only: “It’s really good news I’ve been waiting three years for. It’s all about Amy today.”

Amy is Jordan's newest signing and will be represented by Black Sheep Management

However, as we were on our way out of the press call, we heard Katie giggle: “We love a scandal… There’ll be one soon!”

It may sound a tad sad, but we actually can’t wait to find out what she’s banging on about.

Harding opens up about New Year argument

Singer SARAH HARDING has spoken for the first time about a New Year's Day argument with her boyfriend which ended in a trip to hospital, insisting they fell out because of his jealousy.

The Girls Aloud beauty became embroiled in a heated argument with her Dutch partner, Theo De Vries, during a ski trip to Austria over the holidays, which ended in her flying home several days early.

Harding was admitted to hospital in the early hours of New Year's Day (01Jan12) and spotted with a bandaged wrist on her return.

However, De Vries, who met Harding while they were both being treated at a rehab centre, vehemently denied he had been violent towards the star.

The singer has now opened up about the incident, revealing the feud was sparked by a discussion about her former fiance Tom Crane, who she split from last year (10).

She tells The Sun, "I think he knew I missed Tom, because I do - desperately. I think in a way I was on a rebound. I think that p**sed him off. I called him Tom a few times by mistake. He hated that. Probably when we were rowing - probably because I used to shout at Tom...

"I have spoken to Tom... We still have a lot of love for each other, but we know we are just not right for each other at this point in time. I think that's what p**sed Theo off. He knew that I still had a lot of love for Tom."

De Vries maintains he didn't hurt the star, saying, "I've never hit anyone in my life. I did restrain her but nothing more."

Moore opens up about rejection after Kutcher split

DEMI MOORE opened up about her feelings of rejection and abandonment in a revealing magazine interview just two weeks after her split from husband ASHTON KUTCHER.

The Ghost star, and former wife of Bruce Willis, confirmed her six-year union to Kutcher was over in November (11) following weeks of speculation about the status of their relationship.

Now she has spoken out about her emotions for the first time, admitting she fears that after two broken marriages, she may never find her ideal man.

Moore tells Harper's Bazaar, "What scares me is that I'm going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I'm not really loveable, that I'm not worthy of being loved. That there's something fundamentally wrong with me... The fight against gravity for me is to find that love for myself that gives me the courage to reach my fullest potential."

The actress also admits she was crushed by the breakdown of her marriage but she's slowly recovering from her heartache, adding, "I used to think that what scared me was the idea of being abandoned until someone said to me, 'Only children can be abandoned. Adults can't be abandoned because we have a choice.'"

The beauty is now on the mend and, offering up her greatest words of wisdom from a pal, she says, "Somebody wrote something to me that said, 'Don't let your wounds become someone you're not.' That's really powerful."

Robert Downey Jr has thumb-thing to smile about at Holmes prem

The actor showed his approval as he posed alongside his blooming producer partner Susan.

The couple, who wed in August 2005, are expecting their first child together ? a boy ? in February.

The sequel to the 2009 blockbuster held its gala opening at the Village Theatre in Los Angeles last night.

Joining 46-year-old Downey Jr, who plays the titular sleuth, was director Guy Ritchie.

The pair warmly embraced on the red carpet and later lined up alongside cast members Rachel McAdams, Jared Harris and Noomi Rapace for a group shot.

Elementary greeting ... Downey Jr embraces director Guy Ritchie

A Game Of Shadows sees Sherlock and newly-married Watson (Jude Law) hooking up with a new character, gypsy Sim (Rapace), to pit their wits against arch enemy Professor Moriarty, played by Harris.

The first instalment in 2009 marked a return to form for Ritchie ? who'd suffered both critical and commercial lashings with movies Revolver and Swept Away ? banking ?330million at the box office.

'I'm a Celebrity' Pat Sharp rants about Sinitta & Lorraine Chase

I'm a Celebrity's Pat Sharp has told jungle campmates of his reservations about Sinitta and Lorraine Chase.

The Fun House star held court with a silent Mark Wright, Crissy Rock, Dougie Poynter and Jessica-Jane Clement over the pair.

The 50-year-old first accused 'So Macho' singer Sinitta of seeking tabloid attention by exaggerating her fears in her bushtucker trials.

Sharp declared: "It p*sses me off and I don't give a flying f**k anymore. Whatever phobia you have we know that these [creatures] will not hurt you so... just get in there and do what they want you to do. If you come out being all scary just to get in the papers or whatever, then that is pathetic.

"I think there's a bit of, 'Oh, look at me'. She's not stupid, and she knows how the world works. She's milking it. She might have tried her best but it just wasn't good enough.

"It's about mentality, you are either strong minded or you are not. I would not enjoy any of the things she's had to endure but I would still not look like a moron doing them. She looks ridiculous. She's wimping around on this show."

Of Chase, the presenter complained: "Lorraine is the nicest woman I've ever met but her holding a teddy is sweet but it doesn't work in here - she's not 4 years old, she's 60, and she wraps it up and puts it to bed.

"I don't get it. There is no room in here for a nice person - that's naff, saccharine, sweet. Her teddy is called Tedward, given the choice I would strangle Tedward over Jedward - that makes you realise how angry I am."

Finally confronting the ex-Emmerdale actress, he said: "You are too nice for me Lorraine. Don't walk past just saying, 'Look at the lovely trees'."

Kristen Stewart: 'I like talking about Twilight'

Kristen Stewart has said that she loves talking about The Twilight Saga.

The actress, who plays Bella Swan in Stephenie Meyer's vampire franchise, confessed that she is not always aware of her position but feels it is important to reflect on and be appreciative of her success.

"I like talking about these movies. When you're actually talking about the movies, I have a really good time with it," Stewart explained to MTV News.

"You don't always get times that you have to articulate this stuff, so it's actually good to think about."

Asked if she would be glad to distance herself from the Twilight frenzy once the final film is released, Stewart answered: "Sure, but at the same time, these things are so rare and sporadically intense that part of it is easy to [do].

"I have to force myself to enjoy it - not force myself because it's hard, but acknowledge that I am enjoying [the moment] rather than going, 'God, this is so crazy'."

Stewart recently confessed that it feels "weird" to know that she will never film another Twilight film.

The actress has said that she only recently became comfortable with doing interviews with the press.

The Wanted tell us! all about The X Factor 'golden rule' and why One Direction are better

WE can always rely on The Wanted to get us excited on a gloomy afternoon.

And after their rap extravaganza earlier this week, we bet you guys thought their visit to MarkMeets HQ couldn’t get any better.

Well actually it did.

Check out the best bits from our chat below where while Siva was chatting video games with our colleagues and Tom was mostly on the phone to his girlfriend (aw!), Nathan, Max and Jay talk everything from One Direction to getting lucky in a tent.

ON THE COMPETITION

How do you feel about One Direction? Are they the new JLS in terms of being your competitors?

Max: They are the cute, better looking, cleaner version of us. With definite age on their side. They’re going to be around for a very long time. I would love to take them out and get them all absolutely smashed one night.

Harry isn’t old enough to drink.

Max: Is he not? Even better. I want to get them all absolutely leathered.

ON GIRLS

Do you have a girlfriend yet?

Jay: No.

Are you lying?

Jay: No, but when I get one I am going to lie.

For how long? You can’t keep it a secret forever.

Jay: Um, until about engagement stage. The stress that Max and ‘Chelle have to go through is just ridiculous. The stuff that she has to read sometimes and hearing him have to explain to her all the time is just…

I don’t understand how he doesn’t have a nervous breakdown. The stuff that he has to deal with - and the other boys who have girlfriends - plus all of that on top. If he didn’t have a shaved head he’d have alopecia through stress.

I’m so proud of you staying so calm all the time Max!

ON X FACTOR

You know what the X Factor golden rules are (Max’s old band, Avenue, were axed in series 3 for misleading the judges over an existing record contract). Why did Frankie get the boot?

Max: I never lied they never asked! (OK.co.uk may or may not have called him a liar at the time).

Nathan: It’s like Max now, no one’s asked him if he’s a girl so he’s allowed to be in our boyband.

The Wanted: [LAUGHS]

Max: Having sex with one of the contestants without their consent?

Tom: Well that’ll be against the rules, surely?!

Max: Drugs?

ON JEDWARD:

Referring to their OK! column picture.

Jay: WTF, Jedward look like models here.

Max: We've met them loads of times. They are absolutely off their head.

[In high pitched Irish accents]

Jay: Edward, I need to do a poo, would you do it for me?

Max: John, my bum’s itching…itch your bum.

ON GIRLS

What all this about you getting it on with a girl in a pink tent?

Nathan: There’s a rumour going around that on the Lightning video set, I got lucky in a tent. So these girls bought me a baby-sized pink tent to christen and I said funnily enough I did it three weeks ago!

So is the rumour true?

Nathan: Yes…it was acting though. It was filmed... not for my own personal use though!

What about when the camera was off?

Nathan: Well we had to practice…

We Need To Talk About Kevin: Film doesn't do Tilda Swinton's supreme performance justice

WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN
Strong: Tilda Swinton gives a powerful performance as mother Eva in the film We Need To Talk About Kevin
We Need To Talk About Kevin is an ultra-solemn attempt to graft the style of an expressionist art-house film on to the sensational content of a horror movie.

As readers of Lionel Shriver’s best-seller will know, it’s the story of former travel writer Eva (Tilda Swinton) living alone in a small-town U.S. community that’s made her a pariah. Once, she was married to a pleasant and prosperous husband (John C. Reilly) and gave birth to two children.

From the outset, Kevin — the elder of the two — is the baby from hell who won’t stop screaming. At eight years old (and played by Jasper Newell), he can’t be potty-trained, won’t play and regards Eva with resentment — which leads her to harm him physically.

In his teens, Kevin (now played by a better young actor, Ezra Miller) commits a series of vicious acts, culminating in one so heinous that, right from the start of the movie, we see other people regard his mother with unconcealed hatred.

The best thing about the film is Tilda Swinton, who gives a cleverly nuanced performance that reveals the vulnerability behind Eva’s cold, gaunt exterior. It would be no surprise if she were nominated for an Academy Award.

Scottish director Lynne Ramsay brings the same leisurely pace, remorseless intensity and obsession with colour that marked her first two films, Ratcatcher and Morvern Callar.

But in ditching the novel’s structure — which took the form of Eva’s letters to her absent husband after the climactic event — Ramsay sacrifices the shock value of the twist at the end of the book.

Most fatally for the film’s chances of attracting an audience, the cinema exposes faults in the original novel that a reader could easily overlook.

There is a huge element of unbelievability to Kevin’s character and development.

Trouble ahead: Eva has her work cut out bringing up wild child Kevin
His father and mother don’t need to talk about this blatant sociopath; they need to get him professional help — yet that idea never occurs to them.

Though Eva does make an initial inquiry about possible autism, it is incredible that his behavioural problems don’t involve him seeing at least one child psychiatrist.

It’s amazing, too, his teachers don’t view him with concern. And his climactic act makes little sense without some record of violence or bullying by his peers.

Nor is there the slightest explanation for Kevin’s evil personality. He is easily the most fascinating presence in the movie, but the film-makers are interested in him only insofar as he affects his mother.

Rocky path: Eva was married and had a calm life - but that all changes
This turns it into a hard-line feminist parable. Ms Shriver poses the question: what are successful career-women to do when they give birth to the kind of insensitive, aggressive male they have loathed since their own childhood?

It is a query that will strike most people — mothers of boys especially — as more than faintly ridiculous.

Kevin is a fantastical creation who bears little or no relation to the vast majority of real boys. It is no surprise to learn Ms Shriver is childless.

You have only to compare this with other ‘bad seed’ films, such as The Omen and Orphan, to appreciate the movie’s shortcomings as regards pace, storytelling and ability to suspend the audience’s disbelief.

This is cheap grand guignol posing as a valuable insight into the male psyche.

Tilda Swinton’s performance is towering, but the story around her doesn’t convince.
